The International Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) defines web accessibility as follows:

Main browsing

HAL websites (portals) are organized in sections, each portal can define its own sections. We usually find

  • Homepage ;

  • Browse ;
  • Documentation ;
  • My space.

Other browsing systems

  • a search engine is displayed on all pages and the specific search page allows access to an advanced search ;
  • a breadcrumb placed directly below the main menu tells you where you are and the path taken to get to the page where you are.
